Aquinas Action Centre is a community-share facility located in the picturesque grounds of Aquinas College.
The Aquinas Action Centre is a fantastic venue for small to medium sized sports events conveniently located in Pyes Pa. Based on the scenic grounds of Aquinas College and with easy access to the local shopping centre, this modern facility has all the amenities needed to host a successful sporting event.
The full-sized indoor court can be configured for a number of different sports including basketball, netball, volleyball and badminton. The space is also popular with different codes such as football and martial arts. The retractable grandstand can seat over 450 patrons, however capacity may be reduced when the venue is set up for basketball or netball as seating cannot be fully utilised. Electric scoreboards are installed, and a selection of sporting equipment is available for hire from the college on request. Toilets and changing rooms are situated within the venue making it a superb all-weather facility.
This well-maintained and flexible space gives you the freedom to design your event any way you choose. Yes, we require a bond for all venue hire. A venue check will be carried out after the function and your bond will be returned provided that there is no damage to the facility.
