Matua Hall is a sunny facility backing onto Matua Park. This venue caters to all ages, from playgroups for young children to social activities for our senior citizens.
This cosy and traditional community hall has a warm atmosphere that makes everyone who walks through the door feel welcome. Located adjacent to the local park, Matua Hall is a great choice for hosting recreational clubs and groups. It plays host to a lively schedule of events and has room for plenty more.
The venue consists of a medium-sized main hall, separate lounge and kitchenette area. The main hall is equipped with bench seats along both sides and more chairs can be set up to increase seated capacity. Projector screens and heat pumps are installed for the convenience of the user.
The lounge is a comfortable area furnished with tables and chairs, and can be hired with or without the main hall. There is a tidy kitchen on site that is useful for self-catering events or serving morning/afternoon tea to community groups.
Matua Hall is a firm favourite with the younger and older members of the community. Play groups for preschool children run most days of the week and social groups such as the garden and bird clubs are well attended by our senior citizens.
This venue ticks all the boxes for hosting recreational activities: charming location, affordable hire and welcoming atmosphere. It doesn’t get more community-focussed than Matua Hall!
